• Here's a photo of Wren cuddling his lamb, Daisy. It's the only stuffed animal that he likes, and he only gives it about five seconds per day worth of attention. Maybe.
• He LOVES to color and paint. Although, when painting, he prefers to use a brush... he does not like to finger paint.
• He is CONSTANTLY in motion (unless the Muppets are on). He runs forward full speed and then stops and tries to reach the same speed in reverse.
• He has funny names for his markers. For example, he calls brown "dirt," pink is "pig," etc.
• I was hemming and hawing over getting him an activity table for his room. I couldn't find one small enough, and I didn't want the danger of a gigantic table jutting into his dance space. So, I designed and built him a workbench (photo below ~ red and white piece). It even has a shelf underneath for storage... which was something else that I was looking into.
• Wren speaks in cute little sentences. This evening, for example, in the excitement of the bathroom with the tubby filling up, I could not get his clothes off of him fast enough. He looked at the water, then up at me with urgency and said, "Ima play!"
• Jesse has been okay. The band that he is in took a bit of a break whilst members took care of summer vacays and such. They recently reconvened... and added another member. Now, rather than Tahoma Trio, they are The TahomaTones.
• I've been okay. Busy as usual. Sorry about the delay in blogging. Now that this is up-to-date I can address the month-old e-mails in my in-box. Sorry, everyone!
