Camp Invention

Wren LOVED Camp Invention. We are hoping to send him every summer. The director of the program was so kind and encouraging and had the best words for the students. As you can see, Wren had a VERY busy week. He got a good start on his time machine; he made a paper robot; he started formatting a video game; he made a prototype for a device that helps people's hearts work more efficiently so that everyone can live past 115 years old; he made a rocket with satellite features; and he earned his certification for introduction to prototyping. They also provided him with a shirt, a medal, a journal, and a pouch with circuit bits in it to continue sparking his interest. Good, good stuff! Thank you to those of you who supported his fund-raising efforts! He loved every minute of it! xo

Public Service Announcement

Father's Day cards were mailed today. Sorry for the delay. We have been battling a most irritating intestinal bug since June 3rd. It's ravaged three of us. Jess has managed to outsmart it. In any case, we had a hard time getting to the store to pick up the photos to put into the cards. So... they were mailed today. Happy Father's Day tomorrow... and again when your cards arrive. xoxo
