Wren's Recent Antics.

Wren has taken to picking "'licious berries" daily. He also prefers a shower with one of us over taking the stereotypical childish tubby. His showering has brought on a few priceless conversations, as you can imagine. He is a funny little guy. xoxo

So, things are moving along. It's hard to believe that we've almost been here for a whole month. Almost.

• We had a HUGE yard sale last weekend and we were able to rid ourselves of many excess items. Hooray!
• We took the last bit of paperwork to the mortgage company today. We are looking good to close on the 15th! Then it will be ours. I have been chomping at the bit to paint Wren's room and get it all squared away for him.
• We had to get the brakes (including rotors) done on both cars. Next week we are going to get all new tires on both cars, too. We have to be safe. Especially before winter comes along.
• So excited to have the arborist tell us that we have apple, cherry and pear trees! Wha hoo! We just need to get them all cleaned up and pruned... and then hope for the best this next year.
• I am considering joining the West Sound Beekeepers Association. Initially, I was just planning on keeping mason bees, but now I am considering honey bees as well.
• We're pretty wiped out, but things are feeling better. Can't wait to get our home to a comfy place.

We're sorry to announce that, due to unexpected $$ vehicle expenses, we have to temporarily cancel our Brookings trip. We are hoping to reschedule soon. Thank you to all those who were planning to come and meet us there. We were REALLY looking forward to it. Alas, we just can't do it right now. Thank you for your understanding.
