Wild Birds Unlimited hosted an egg hunt on Saturday at 10:30am. We happily took Wren down there for the event. He was not into it AT ALL. He is not even marginally aggressive, so the thought of racing to grab eggs before other kids got to them did not appeal. Once we told him that there was candy inside the eggs, he was slightly moved to grab some, but even then all he wanted to do was go into the store and say hi to the kitty who lives there.
The "Easter Bunny" freaked him out. It was a pretty creepy costume. Pink-rimmed eyes and a fluorescent pink nose and mouth. This was clearly a Halloween costume.
He ate one mini peanut butter cup, then had a Hershey's kiss... which he did not like and ended up spitting out. Ha. He is ONE FUNNY kiddo.
